  • Hospitality at community projects and events

  • Event management support
  • Broadcasting and presenting
  • Broadcasting training for young people – you must be over 18, able to pass a DBS check and willing to undertake safeguarding and other training

If you are interested, use the contact page to message us for further details.

Volunteer DJ

Start your career with us. Once we can go back into the station and get back to being close to each other again, we will start up our usual training programme for young people who want to learn about radio, being a DJ and broadcasting. Keep checking to see when we can get this programme up and running again.

Social Media Volunteer

This role has two parts: People who post onto our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages and people who use their own social media to help spread the word about our key messages, campaigns, events, fundraising and community projects. Anyone can volunteer as a Social Media Volunteer - all you need is to know how to use social media, have a friendly and outgoing personality and the time and ability to convey our key messages to other people.

Community and Events Champion

This role involves working at the station when we are open again, meeting and greeting members of the public who want to engage with the station. The role also involves taking pictures and videos of the events and projects we are involved in once we can get these up and running again or might involve asking people what they think about our station. You have the opportunity to get involved in a whole range of projects and events.
