
We're looking for talented volunteer DJs to curate playlists of African and Caribbean music, and presenters to host our community shows. As a community show presenter, you'll bring compelling stories to life with your interviewing skills, while our music DJs will craft playlists that celebrate the rich musical heritage of Africa and the Caribbean.

Legacy 90.1FM is looking for culturally aware and creative individuals to join our volunteer programme and become part of Team Legacy.
Our Volunteer Programme wants people from all backgrounds to support our community radio station. You will have opportunities to get involved with the community projects and events we are involved in. The programme encourages volunteers to participate in these projects and events. In doing so, you will gain new skills, increase your confidence, meet new friends and most of all, have fun!
General Volunteer Roles:
- Event ambassador for community events
- Backstage support for DJs and music artists at community events
- Hospitality at community projects and events
- Fundraising
- Event management support
- Broadcasting training for young people – you must be over 18, able to pass a DBS check and willing to undertake safeguarding and other training

Volunteer DJ

Social Media Volunteer
This can be people who post onto our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages for us or people who use their own social media to help spread the word about our key messages, campaigns, events, fundraising and community projects. All you need is social media know how, time, and a friendly and outgoing personality.
Community and Events Champion
This role is very varied and you will have the opportunity to get involved in a whole range of projects and events. You could be at an event one day and meeting and greeting local people the next. It's certainly not boring!
