Legacy 90.1FM projects celebrate, educate and inform about the role of Black people in the UK. We also get involved in community projects and programming that help people with health, money, topical issues, finding support and much more…

Our most recent project was Let’s Talk, delivered in 2021. This was a series of 11 discussion programmes exploring the impact of the Covid pandemic on African and Caribbean people. Find out more about Let’s Talk here.

In 2020 we acknowledged Black History Month by celebrating 31 of the most successful Black people in Manchester and the UK. One of those people was Jamal Edwards MBE, founder of the online urban music platform SB.TV and Prince’s Trust ambassador who sadly passed away at the age of 33 on the 20th February 2022.

If you would like your project to be broadcast on Legacy 90.1FM, or you would like to discuss how a partnership with community radio could benefit your project, please get in touch here.
